Chief Technology Officer – Business Development Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Position fino as a leader in data-driven business models across Europe.

• Propel fino’s technological vision, encompassing emerging technologies and innovative product concepts, while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

• Take the initiative in C-level sales discussions and motivate decision-makers with technological insights and clear business advantages.

• Collaborate with clients to identify new use cases and formulate viable business concepts and models.

• Manage the technology roadmap and prioritize initiatives guided by data analysis.

• Synchronize Engineering and Product efforts around high-impact areas.

• Partner closely with the founder and executive team as a strategic advisor.

• Actively influence fino’s strategic direction.

• Assess the effectiveness of decisions using defined KPIs and determine subsequent actions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in a CTO, VP Engineering, or similar technology leadership role, preferably within the FinTech or banking industries.

• An entrepreneurial and visionary mindset, with a keen sense for emerging technologies.

• Capability to independently identify promising future business models.

• Strong hands-on approach.

• Enjoyment in presenting and promoting ideas directly during customer interactions.

• Effective and persuasive communication skills with customers, teams, and executive management, including key decision-makers.

• Profound technical knowledge of contemporary cloud architectures, APIs, data analytics, and AI.

• Familiarity with security and regulatory demands in the banking sector.

• Fluent in both German and English for business purposes.

• Additional proficiency in foreign languages is advantageous.
