This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the implementation, deployment, and upkeep of vehicle management software systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define requirements and specifications.
• Provide technical direction for software development and the integration of externally developed functionalities.
• Advise on test plans and cases for software validation purposes.
• Lead verification, validation, and system integration efforts.
• Offer technical insights during system-level design and architectural planning.
• Manage the investigation and resolution of software-related issues.
• Supervise the creation and upkeep of software documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and technical specifications.
• Influence the research, evaluation, and adoption of new technologies, tools, frameworks, and development methodologies.
• Counsel management on technical and programmatic matters concerning vehicle management software.
• Mentor engineering colleagues and support critical aerospace capabilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Over 18 years of experience in designing and developing software for both real-time and non-real-time systems.
• More than 18 years of experience in software development utilizing C/C++ or Java/Python scripting.
• Capability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance after employment commencement.
• U.S. Citizenship is necessary for the security clearance.
• U.S. Person status is required for compliance with U.S. export-control regulations.
• Experience with the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to Formal Qualification.
• Proficient in using GitLab, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Background in embedded real-time software development.
• Experience in automating software builds, unit tests, and integration tests through a DevOps toolchain.
• Experience presenting at formal program events such as PDR, CDR, and QPMR.
• Completion of a technical CodeVue coding assessment is required.
• Must adhere to U.S. export-control compliance standards.
