Chief Revenue Officer – Global Head of Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee all global Sales operations for the organization.

• Collaborate directly with the CEO, COO, and other executives to formulate and implement both tactical and long-term sales and revenue strategies.

• Manage a worldwide team of sales professionals.

• Ensure that all monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals are achieved or surpassed.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for sales and revenue growth that aligns with the company's tactical and strategic business goals.

• Identify and leverage new market opportunities, maximizing revenue streams across various geographical areas and client segments.

• Lead cross-functional teamwork to ensure a smooth sales execution framework.

• Propel global sales initiatives, focusing on customer ROI, product and services differentiation, and overall competitive edge.

• Build and enhance the company’s market presence by establishing strategic partnerships and securing high-value contracts.

• Oversee and improve the sales pipeline, ensuring robust lead generation, qualification, and conversion processes.

• Establish a scalable Sales playbook to enhance efficiency and performance.

• Recruit, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing sales team.

• Develop and implement both group-level and individual KPIs.

• Implement account plans and performance-based commission structures and incentive programs to promote accountability and performance.

• Promote a culture of continuous learning, ensuring the team remains informed about industry trends and best practices.

• Ensure the team effectively communicates the value propositions of the company’s products and services.

• Represent the company at industry and marketing events to effectively position the brand.

• Collaborate with Product, Services, Professional Services, and Customer Support teams to align sales strategies with product launches, implementations, and lifecycle support.

• Work closely with other stakeholder teams such as Security, Finance, and Operations to ensure effective sales execution.

• Provide ongoing market feedback to Product and Marketing teams to refine messaging, lead generation initiatives, and positioning strategies.

• Analyze competitive intelligence and client insights to uncover opportunities for enhancing products and services.

• Own sales forecasting and pipeline management, ensuring data-driven decision-making and predictable growth that the organization can depend on for its decisions.

• Present updates on sales performance to the executive leadership team, including insights and recommendations for ongoing improvement.

• Optimize the use of CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Sugar CRM) to enhance reporting, sales tracking, and workflow efficiency.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

• MBA is preferred.

• Over 15 years of progressive experience in sales and revenue leadership, preferably within the IP industry focusing on software and services.

• Demonstrated success in scaling sales and revenue operations while driving sustained business growth.

• Strong leadership and mentorship background, with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams.

• Extensive experience in enterprise sales, contract negotiations, and relationship management at the executive level.

• In-depth understanding of SaaS, subscription-based models, and CRM platforms.

• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary, with the ability to travel as required.
