This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +20 more states.
• Take ownership of and enhance the business cadence for the General Manager and the Online Grocery division.
• Manage the GM’s operational rhythm by prioritizing and assigning workstreams.
• Enhance organizational decision-making through established decision rights, frameworks, and preparatory documents.
• Capture, convey, and monitor decisions, priorities, and commitments throughout the execution phase.
• Design and facilitate leadership team offsites, encompassing objectives, agendas, preparatory documents, discussions, decisions, and follow-up actions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the GM and a problem-solving collaborator for product and R&D leaders.
• Prepare briefings and coordinate research for the GM’s meetings with partners and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the GM, HR, and finance to oversee the organization’s headcount budget.
• Manage the calendar, planning, and content for C-suite and board communications regarding Online Grocery priorities.
• Assist the GM in developing content for public speaking engagements.
• Identify organizational challenges and provide structured summaries and early indicators.
• Work alongside the GM and HR on initiatives related to relationships, culture, and organizational health.
• Transform engagement survey findings into actionable plans and ensure their execution.
• Contribute to the annual and long-term planning for Online Grocery.
• Lead complex initiatives from definition through execution by creating plans, identifying Directly Responsible Individuals (DRIs), aligning stakeholders, and establishing operational rhythms.
• Identify and manage emerging opportunities and risks before they become obstacles.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
• R&D experience in areas such as product, design, engineering, technical program management, a related embedded role, or as an R&D Chief of Staff.
• Background in consulting, corporate strategy/operations, or finance.
• Experience collaborating directly with executives.
• Proficient understanding across product, design, and engineering organizations at scale.
• High emotional intelligence and a people-focused approach to establishing trusted relationships and connecting leadership with teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, suitable for an executive audience.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Dedication to consistently delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent program management capabilities and the ability to drive multiple complex initiatives to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Preferred: experience in designing and facilitating leadership offsites and implementing changes in organizational culture or operating models.
• Preferred: professional experience in building with AI, including prototypes, automations, or agents.
• Preferred: experience in high-growth, technology-driven environments.
