This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of company metrics, definitions, modifications in methodology, restatements, and provide explanations for reporting to the board, investors, and the team.

• Develop and manage the company’s goal-setting process, conduct weekly metrics reviews, oversee executive meetings, and maintain the cadence of the strategic initiative portfolio.

• Prepare and take full responsibility for board and investor documentation, diligence workstreams, financing assistance, coordination with outside counsel, and key vendor partnerships.

• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in credentialing, payer enrollment, contracting, revenue cycle management, and clinical operations.

• Conduct analysis and lead launches for new state entries.

• Facilitate compliance with multi-state corporate structure and regulatory requirements in collaboration with outside legal counsel.

• Make decisions regarding build-vs-buy scenarios and oversee system migrations.

• Establish functions and recruit their initial leaders.

• Create a comprehensive source of truth for company and team metrics within the first 90 days.

• Implement quarterly objectives, conduct weekly metrics reviews, and ensure follow-through on executive meetings within the initial 90 days.

• Guarantee that every strategic initiative has an assigned owner, a status update, and a next decision date.

• Assume full ownership of one CEO workstream from start to finish by the 90-day mark.


⛳️ Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity/venture capital, or an operational role within a high-growth startup.

• Proven track record of taking ownership of outcomes.

• Outstanding written communication skills, capable of crafting clear, concise, and assertive materials.

• Experience developing a presentation or memo that successfully influenced decision-making.

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to create models from scratch and discern when a model is unreliable.

• Ability to operate with minimal guidance and independently establish assumptions.

• Proficient in collaborating effectively with clinicians, payer representatives, healthcare attorneys, and engineers.

• Humble attitude with a readiness to perform both strategic and administrative operational tasks.

• Healthcare experience, particularly in multi-state provider operations, payer contracting, or Medicaid (preferred, not mandatory).

• Experience in a marketplace, MSO, or other multi-sided business (preferred, not mandatory).

• Experience in participating in a Series B or later fundraising round from within the company (preferred, not mandatory).

• Authorization to work in the United States or Canada.
