This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Management and coordination of the expert council, the board, and other committees, along with communication with committee members and relevant stakeholders.
• Organization, preparation, and follow-up of events, meetings, and association formats including invitations, registrations, and informational materials.
• Reliable tracking of decisions, tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines.
• Communication and organizational interface work between the national board, committees, members, volunteers, and specialist departments.
• Support for the COO in cross-departmental organizational and coordination issues.
• Participation in the development and optimization of organizational processes and internal communication structures.
• Interest in organizational development, governance, association management, internal communication, and event management.
• Initial experience in project or event management, in an assistant role, in club or association work, or in committee coordination.
• Experience with boards, advisory committees, or volunteer structures is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Teams, Planner, OneNote, and SharePoint.
• Highly structured, meticulous, and independent work style.
• Ability to think conceptually while also pragmatically implementing operational tasks.
• Strong communication skills, empathy, service orientation, discretion, and reliability.
• Enjoyment in active information exchange and collaboration in volunteer work.
• Availability of approximately 5 to 8 hours per week.
• Prompt accessibility via email or mobile for committee member support is desirable.
• The position is voluntary, unpaid, and does not establish an employment or contractual relationship.
• High strategic and operational scope of design in a central interface role within the COO office.
• Direct collaboration with the COO, the national board, and the central committees of DEHIB.
• Responsibility with visible influence on decisions, information flows, events, and organizational structures.
