• Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with Ciullo’s multi-entity growth objectives.
• Introduce and enhance AI-powered HR tools throughout recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and workforce analytics.
• Create scalable and intelligent people processes that replace manual tasks with AI-enhanced systems.
• Spearhead organizational design initiatives across all portfolio companies.
• Manage the recruiting strategy, covering executive placements to high-volume hiring across all business units.
• Establish world-class onboarding and development initiatives that enhance retention and accelerate time-to-productivity.
• Develop leadership pipelines and succession plans for every critical position within the portfolio.
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to formulate workforce plans and headcount models for the next 6–12 months.
• Define, safeguard, and advance Ciullo’s culture within a distributed, multi-company framework.
• Design engagement strategies that foster belonging, accountability, and high performance.
• Drive DEI initiatives with measurable results — moving beyond performative programs.
• Cultivate a feedback-rich culture leveraging real-time data and AI-driven sentiment tools.
• Mentor and advise the CEO and senior leadership on organizational effectiveness and team dynamics.
• Develop and facilitate leadership training programs for directors and above.
• Provide direct mentorship to the SVP of HR, enhancing their executive presence and preparing them for the CHRO role.
• Extend leadership development throughout the entire human resources function.
• Create competitive compensation frameworks based on market benchmarks across all business units.
• Oversee the benefits strategy, vendor management, and total rewards philosophy.
• Ensure HR compliance across all jurisdictions, including employment law, labor regulations, and policy adherence.
• Collaborate with Finance on workforce budgeting, headcount planning, and optimizing people costs.
• A minimum of 12 years in progressive HR leadership roles, including at least 5 years in a VP or C-suite people position.
• Proven track record in scaling people functions within startup or high-growth environments — building from 0 to 1 and from 1 to 100.
• Demonstrated AI-first mindset — actively utilizing AI tools in your work and implementing AI-powered HR systems at scale.
• Experience in leading people strategies across multiple business units, departments, or portfolio companies simultaneously.
• Exceptional change management capabilities — adept at navigating ambiguity and guiding others with confidence.
• Proven ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels — capable of planning three years ahead while also being hands-on.
• Extensive expertise in organizational design, compensation structures, talent acquisition, and cultural development.
• Strong executive presence and communication abilities — a trusted advisor to CEOs and boards.
