Chief Financial Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the existing finance function and establish the organization necessary to support a growing SaaS business.

• Redesign the finance function by hiring, mentoring, and structuring a proficient team.

• Oversee the financial systems stack centered around NetSuite, including process reengineering and integrations.

• Collaborate with the CEO and the executive leadership team on pricing strategies, packaging, and market economics.

• Manage relationships with external partners such as auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, and insurance providers.

• Take charge of cash management and create board-ready financial reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous CFO experience at a B2B SaaS company, demonstrating success in building or transforming a finance function.

• Experience in a private equity- or venture capital-backed company.

• Extensive knowledge of SaaS economics and metrics, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and financial systems and reporting suitable for SaaS.

• A hands-on operator's mindset, thriving in a small-team environment.

• Strategic insight — involvement in key discussions regarding business model decisions.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to partner effectively with the CEO, COO, VP of Revenue, and the broader leadership team.
