Chief Financial Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, treasury, and reporting activities.

• Provide guidance to executive leadership and ownership regarding profitability, investment priorities, and growth strategies.

• Create financial models for new destinations, vessels, tour programs, partnerships, and acquisitions.

• Track booking performance, seasonal cash flow, operating margins, and supplier expenses.

• Enhance internal controls, financial governance, risk management, and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Assess profitability related to routes, itineraries, destinations, and customer segments.

• Manage relationships with banking, audit, tax, insurance, and external advisory firms.

• Establish and nurture a high-performing finance and accounting team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including executive-level responsibilities.

• Background in travel, cruise operations, touring, hospitality, leisure, or another service-oriented industry.

• Proven expertise in forecasting, cash management, financial controls, and commercial analysis.

• Strong knowledge of seasonal revenue models and operations across multiple locations.

• Experience in supporting acquisitions, financing transactions, or significant business investments is preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.

• CPA, CMA, or MBA is highly preferred.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for leadership meetings and operational assessments.
