Chief Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Responsible for managing engine room operations and maintaining all machinery

• Ensure the safe and efficient functioning of the main engine, auxiliary systems, and electrical installations

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans and repairs

• Track fuel consumption, lubricating oil usage, and engine performance metrics

• Supervise and lead the engine crew, assign tasks, and provide training

• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 months in rank on a similar type of vessel

• Proven experience in repairs and dry docking is essential

• Possession of a valid Certificate of Competency (STWC Reg III/2) with verification

• Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the role

• Familiarity with a multicultural work environment

• Proficient in both written and spoken English
