This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the development of enterprise-wide business strategies and partnerships that align with commercialization and growth objectives.
β’ Identify, assess, structure, and finalize high-value transactions such as licensing agreements, partnerships, and venture financing.
β’ Act as a senior relationship manager for pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, venture capitalists, and strategic partners.
β’ Collaborate with scientific and clinical leaders to define commercialization and development strategies.
β’ Build and expand a high-performance Business Development team.
β’ Discover and implement new revenue-generating opportunities across institutional resources and assets.
β’ Represent City of Hope at industry conferences, investment forums, and significant strategic events.
β’ Develop operating models, key performance indicators (KPIs), and pipeline management processes to enhance performance.
β’ Provide guidance to executive leadership on market trends, partnership opportunities, and long-term growth strategies.
β’ PhD with over 15 years of industry experience, preferably with an MBA, or a Masterβs degree with an MBA and over 20 years of experience.
β’ Proven leadership experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences sectors.
β’ Extensive background in licensing, strategic partnerships, alliance management, and venture creation.
β’ Outstanding skills in negotiation, strategic thinking, financial analysis, and relationship management.
β’ Experience in oncology, cell and gene therapy, diagnostics, precision medicine, or advanced therapeutics is preferred.
β’ Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence executive-level decisions in complex settings.
