Chartered Structural Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Identify and articulate the scope of work and deliverables for each project.

• Oversee technical design and conduct on-site inspections.

• Perform inspections in accordance with Building Regulations and Inspection Plans.

• Offer technical advice and guidance to clients and project teams regarding compliance issues.

• Foster strong client relationships and maintain the excellence of ORS service delivery.

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and expertise to a developing team.

• Evaluate inspection reports along with supporting documentation from the design team and contractors.

• Detect, communicate, and oversee the resolution of non-compliance issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Building Surveying.

• Chartered or Registered status.

• Solid understanding of construction methods, building services, and multidisciplinary design coordination.

• In-depth knowledge of Irish building regulations, on-site inspections, construction detailing, building control processes, and project management.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proactive approach with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.

• Proven knowledge of construction and engineering principles.

• Strong leadership, management, and communication capabilities.

• Excellent skills in contractor oversight and quality assurance.
