• Oversee partner relationships in the Chicago, Illinois area by establishing and fostering robust, long-lasting in-person connections within the designated territory, serving as the primary liaison.
• Create and implement a strategic channel sales plan customized to market demands, establishing clear objectives and performance benchmarks for partners.
• Identify, recruit, and efficiently onboard new strategic partners to stimulate growth and enhance market presence.
• Provide continuous sales training, tools, and resources to empower partner teams with the necessary knowledge to effectively market the company’s products.
• Serve as a reliable resource for partners, offering advice on product positioning, sales strategies, and competitive advantages.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to fortify partnerships and uncover new business prospects.
• Collaborate with partners to formulate joint sales strategies, monitor performance, and implement initiatives aimed at boosting revenue and market share.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to evaluate partner performance, analyze sales metrics, and refine strategies to enhance sales efficiency.
• Maintain precise records in CRM systems, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide insights to leadership.
• Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, product, etc.) to ensure alignment with partner objectives and support business growth.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Over 3 years of channel management experience with Security and/or IT VAR reseller partners.
• Proven success in channel sales (e.g., President’s Club or similar accolades).
• Disciplined in following defined processes while being innovative enough to propose and develop new, scalable methods.
• Ability to cultivate relationships and engage with partners at all levels (from Sales to C-suite).
• Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, and other business software.
• Capable of working independently, managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines.
• Charismatic personality with polished verbal and written communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Must be willing to travel approximately 50% of the time for partner engagements/events.
