This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Offer sales and application assistance for distributors and potentially end users within the CEC product range.
• Expand market presence by developing Connected Site solutions for both existing accounts and new clientele.
• Foster customer interest in Trimble Continuum solutions to enhance sales across the entire CEC offerings.
• Engage in sales through selected and possibly multiple distribution channels, taking part in projects, and cultivating strategic relationships with key end-users to secure successful sales of all Trimble products and services.
• Oversee ongoing dealer development by introducing, following up, and maintaining involvement in Trimble’s channel development programs and workshops.
• Report directly to the European Sales Manager.
• Contribute to the formation and execution of regionally designated sales plans.
• Interface with distributor management, operations, sales, service, and support teams.
• Build strong long-term business development connections with regional construction equipment dealers and implement Trimble Technology Outlets.
• Conduct on-site distributor training and job site demonstrations alongside application engineers.
• Engage with major regional accounts.
• Perform joint sales presentations with an emphasis on educational content.
• Lead the Annual Review Meetings with key accounts in each dealer territory.
• Assist in identifying, procuring, and training distribution sales and application staff.
• Analyze marketplace potential for all served markets and customer segments using available Data Analytics services.
• Aid in the creation and participation in specific technical communications and training needs, such as Trimble Dimensions, Boot Camps, Construction News, and others.
• Ensure all dealers are involved in new product releases, including local strategies, training, and appropriate inventory management.
• Provide insights on competitive products and activities primarily to the CCFS Business Area.
• Support the identification and development of new distribution channels.
• Demonstrated experience in successful consultative sales.
• Background in channel development and management.
• Proven success working with construction equipment dealers.
• Knowledge of business, sales, market, and domain in surveying, civil engineering, and/or construction.
• Ideally experienced in technology solutions for the construction sector.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately +/- 75% of the time.
• Strong understanding of civil construction applications.
• Product knowledge is advantageous.
• Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in English and German, and ideally one Eastern European language.
• Additional language proficiencies are a plus.
