This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Generate new business opportunities with end customers that will be fulfilled through our partner channel.
• Achieve or surpass designated revenue and project targets focused on Avigilon products and services.
• Promote and advertise Avigilon’s products and services within the designated territory and assigned accounts.
• Assist with Avigilon’s sales efforts in the assigned territory and accounts by identifying, developing, and responding to sales opportunities for Avigilon’s offerings.
• Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Conduct sales calls, arrange local promotional activities, and monitor sales efforts.
• A strong focus will be placed on developing new accounts.
• Collaborate with vertical marketing teams to identify opportunities for end-user engagement through associations, conferences, and trade shows.
• Lead the development of video and analytics solutions that effectively meet end-user requirements while coordinating the involvement of all relevant company and partner personnel.
• Daily prospecting utilizing all available tools will be crucial for success in this role.
• Establish “Trusted Advisor” status with customers and Channel Partners to enhance System and Business Development.
• Conduct sales forecasting as necessary.
• Maintain CRM data for both new and existing account development.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical solutions sales.
• Experience in physical security solutions is advantageous.
• Familiarity with channel strategies and initiatives is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to articulate our products and solutions effectively.
• Capability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Proven track record of achieving sales results and fostering collaborative relationships.
• A solid understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy is essential.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft and Google Apps, particularly Excel/Sheets.
• Exceptional presentation skills are necessary.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to quickly learn and demonstrate new software at an advanced level.
• Willingness to travel weekly within the territory (approximately 50% travel required).
• An established client base in the assigned territory is a plus.
