• Deliver technical assistance to channel partners throughout the pre-sales phase, encompassing product demonstrations, proof of concepts, and responding to technical queries.
• Exhibit an in-depth understanding of the architecture, pitch, value proposition, and technical differentiation.
• Recognize and eliminate potential barriers to POVs, deals, etc., arising from partner engagement dynamics.
• Take ownership of the technical success of our strategic channel partners: outline the technical development plan for each strategic partner and establish milestones to be achieved quarterly.
• Identify key technical influencers within each strategic partner.
• Cultivate Cyera technical evangelists among our key strategic partners who can effectively pitch and demonstrate our products.
• Create impactful technical enablement for our channel partners by organizing training sessions and workshops to ensure they are proficient in our product offerings and can sell and support them effectively.
• Assist in the creation and distribution of sales enablement materials, which include presentations, technical documentation, and case studies.
• Build and maintain robust relationships with key channel partners, comprehending their business needs and challenges.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and the competitive landscape to offer insights that will influence our channel strategy.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and engage potential channel partners.
• Collect feedback from channel partners and customers regarding product performance and feature requests.
• Work closely with the product development team to communicate this feedback and contribute to product improvements.
• Partner with Field Sales to ensure technical success within regional channel partners.
• Prior experience in Cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP, or data security in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar technical sales role.
• Strong expertise in one of the three major cloud provider environments concerning roles/permissions/API (AWS and/or Azure preferred).
• Basic knowledge of networking and database systems.
• Solid understanding of data storage types, along with a fundamental grasp of encryption techniques, key management, cloud IAM, and network design/engineering/protocol.
• Basic knowledge of: ML/AI, Data Regulatory Frameworks, Privacy and Data Retention programs.
• Proven track record of working with channel partners, VARs, or system integrators.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying intricate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with SFDC and opportunity tracking.
• Results-driven mindset and a desire to excel in a hyper-growth startup environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think innovatively to tackle customer challenges.
• Desired Certifications (one or more with higher levels preferred): AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner - Foundational or Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamental, AWS Solution Architect - Associate or Professional, AWS Cloud Security Engineer or Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, CCSP - Certified Cloud Security Professional.
