Change Management Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the execution and acceleration of the organizational change management strategy for EHR adoption at VHA.

• Perform change-readiness assessments, stakeholder analyses, and impact analyses related to workflow and system modifications.

• Create communication plans, roadmaps, coaching strategies, training programs, and resistance management plans.

• Utilize knowledge of VA databases and their interrelations to aid in the development and enhancement of the VA's informatics environment.

• Implement project management tools and techniques to integrate change management activities within project plans.

• Monitor and report on issues as they arise.

• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and transition support to ensure users comprehend workflow changes and system updates.

• Establish and evaluate change-adoption success metrics while tracking progress of changes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree required.

• At least 6 years of relevant experience is necessary.

• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a favorable VA background investigation at the Low Risk / NACI level.

• Electronic fingerprinting and e-QIP submission are required for the VA background investigation.

• All responsibilities must be fulfilled within the United States.

• Willingness to occasionally travel within CONUS to VA Medical Centers for site visits lasting approximately 5 days.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.

• Strongly preferred to have working knowledge of SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

• Desired qualifications include Prosci certification and experience in applying change management within a union environment.

• Experience in supporting EHR go-live adoption and post-go-live stabilization is preferred.

• Familiarity with the VA/VHA organizational structure and informatics environment is desired.
