This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Introduces new products, reinforces established volume and display activities, ensures proper vintage rotation, shelf, and cold box placement, and evaluates in-store promotion outcomes.
• Maintains ongoing communication with the Chain Sales Manager regarding buyer preference changes, out-of-stock instances, and retail modifications.
• Collaborates directly with liquor managers, wine stewards, and store directors to enhance the visibility of TDP wines in selected chain retail locations.
• Executes sales support functions, including utilizing current point-of-sale marketing materials and overseeing shelf space in designated accounts.
• Guarantees 100% compliance with authorized planners and promotions established by various chain headquarters.
• Builds and nurtures trust and confidence with retailers (such as wine stewards and other store personnel) through a deep understanding of Duckhorn’s products and procedures.
• An associate degree and/or equivalent relevant experience.
• Knowledge of the wine industry, including a fundamental understanding of wine sales, varietals, regions, and leading categories.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient math and computer abilities.
• Strong presentation and administrative skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, some evenings, and/or weekends.
• Willingness to travel within the territory up to 90% of the time, defined as time spent outside the office visiting accounts.
• Must have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, proof of state vehicle registration, insurance, and a clean driving record.
