This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Create and uphold an efficient call point schedule based on the designated call book to promote the FIFCO portfolio.
• Communicate and monitor all programming with wholesalers, as well as internal sales and marketing teams; this includes the execution of advertisements, features, displays, and INBI.
• Sell programming developed alongside Marketing and Trade Marketing.
• Build credibility and establish a collaborative relationship with our internal field sales personnel and FIFCO USA wholesalers.
• Participate in essential wholesaler business planning meetings relevant to chain business.
• Initiate connections and arrange meetings with key decision-makers for assigned accounts, both in the field and at their headquarters.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations and Insights Analysts on all areas of analysis, including pricing, distribution, out-of-stock situations, INBI, features, and shelf space.
• Regularly engage in key markets for assigned accounts to drive and monitor the execution of regional and national retail initiatives.
• Develop both post and pre-promotional analyses, schematic distribution and shelf space opportunities, category validator account strategies, and field sales reporting/tracking tools.
• Influence field marketing and brand teams to endorse channel strategies through impactful promotions, merchandising, and specialty package development.
• Identify and pursue distribution opportunities.
• Create and oversee individual retail annual business plans for each call point, encompassing the identification of the account's SWOT, distribution gaps, POD-level opportunities, and promotional chances.
• Utilize CRM/KARMA for surveys and as a communication tool within the internal network.
• Manage pricing in collaboration with the Market Managers.
• Comprehend market trends and their implications for our business.
• Oversee budget management.
• Understand the reset process for assigned chains, including timing, new items, and paperwork requirements.
• Actively demonstrate a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of sales experience.
• Proficiency in using syndicated data (e.g., Circana, Nielsen, VIP).
• Competence in Microsoft Office.
