This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• The CGI Visual Specialist is tasked with converting intricate engineering and data center designs into top-notch 3D visualizations, animations, and presentation materials.
• Assist project teams, business development, and leadership by delivering clear, visually engaging representations of mechanical systems, infrastructure layouts, and data center proposals.
• Create high-quality 3D renderings and animations to effectively convey design intent.
• Generate visual outputs that range from quick-turn proposal graphics to high-end photorealistic imagery.
• Develop animations that demonstrate system functionality, construction sequencing, and spatial relationships.
• Construct precise 3D models of mechanical systems, equipment, and data center environments.
• Transform and optimize Revit models for visualization processes.
• Create reusable, parametric models for internal equipment libraries.
• Interpret engineering drawings and BIM models to guarantee visual accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers to address any missing or ambiguous design information.
• Ensure consistency between visualization outputs and engineering objectives.
• Clean, organize, and optimize imported geometry for enhanced performance and usability.
• Maintain structured scenes while following naming and file organization standards.
• Ensure efficient rendering performance without sacrificing visual quality.
• Sustain and expand the company's 3D asset library.
• Create and improve 3D visuals for client presentations and proposals.
• Support the visual storytelling aspect of each project.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Visualization, Graphic Design, Architecture, Engineering Technology, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in 3D visualization, architectural visualization, CGI production, or a similar field.
• Experience in creating visual content for engineering, construction, manufacturing, architecture, or data center settings is preferred.
• Strong expertise in: 3ds Max, V-Ray Render Engine, AutoCAD (2D/3D).
• Proficient knowledge of: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere), Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Solid understanding of: 3D modeling, lighting, materials, and rendering workflows.
• Knowledge of animation fundamentals, such as keyframing, sequencing, and optimization.
• Experience with Revit and BIM workflows is preferred.
• Familiarity with ITOO Forest Pack Pro and RailClone Pro is preferred.
• Exposure to real-time visualization tools like Unreal Engine, Enscape, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Experience supporting AEC, MEP, mission-critical, or data center projects is preferred.
