CFO – Portfolio of Growing Law Firms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +11 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the Chief Financial Officer for a portfolio consisting of up to 30 clients.

• Evaluate financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), cash flow, profitability, and overall business performance.

• Detect financial trends, operational risks, and opportunities for growth.

• Provide monthly financial assessments and strategic recommendations.

• Assist business owners in comprehending financial data and transforming insights into actionable strategies.

• Collaborate with bookkeepers to enhance financial accuracy and reporting practices.

• Create budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.

• Ensure clients remain accountable to their financial objectives and performance metrics.

• Establish and nurture trusted, long-term relationships with clients.

• Work alongside internal team members to provide an exceptional client experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience managing 5 or more concurrent client or business-unit relationships in an advisory, fractional, or multi-entity context — this is a strict requirement, not a preference.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.

• Strong foundation in accounting and financial management.

• Capability to convert complex financial information into actionable business advice.

• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.

• High emotional intelligence and executive presence.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
