CFO – Fractional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• We are in search of a senior CFO to take charge and fully own the financial strategy.

• Serve as a long-term financial partner to the founder and CEO, Marek Rosa.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the group's financial, accounting, tax, and financing landscape.

• Offer practical solutions and ensure important issues are driven to completion.

• Implement consistent monthly management reporting that clarifies business operations.

• Maintain clear ownership, set priorities, and establish deadlines across the entire financial agenda.

• Manage relationships with external accounting firms.

• Supervise cash flow forecasting and short- and medium-term financial planning.

• Create a reliable 12-month overview of tax obligations, statutory filings, annual closings, audits, loan repayments, covenant testing, contract renewals, and other significant financial deadlines.

• Propel the resolution of high-priority historical financial, contractual, and tax issues to finality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with the Czech accounting, banking, and tax environment, along with Czech or Slovak language proficiency.

• Extensive senior-level experience as a CFO, Group CFO, Finance Director, or similar role.

• Proven experience in managing the finances of a multi-entity group.

• Strong grasp of management reporting, cash flow, financial planning, and financial controls.

• Hands-on experience with bank financing, loan covenants, refinancing, and lender communications.

• Experience in managing accounting firms, tax advisors, auditors, and other external service providers.

• Ability to identify incomplete or unreliable financial processes and enhance them.

• Strong judgment with the capability to differentiate between significant risks and minor operational details.

• A history of successfully driving complex, cross-functional issues to completion.

• Confidence to challenge incorrect information or subpar work.

• Ability to clearly communicate complex financial matters to a non-financial CEO.

• A proactive approach combined with strategic thinking at the senior level.

• Proficient in professional English.
