CFO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage and collaborate with clients on all financial elements of their enterprises

• Identify and consistently assess key business drivers to offer insights for improvement

• Maintain financial forecasts that align with the overarching business strategy

• Conduct industry benchmarking

• Assist in the planning of team compensation

• Oversee lending relationships

• Foster relationships with clients’ leadership teams and determine actions related to client satisfaction

• Hold ultimate responsibility for client deliverables and guide the team in executing them promptly and accurately

• Build consulting relationships through financial statements, forecasts, and advice on future business decisions

• Enhance client-deliverable knowledge through internal training, meetings, and self-directed learning

• Comprehend signed statements of work and pricing models; provide quotes and clarify new pricing options when service changes occur

• Participate in two mandatory company retreats each year

• Capability to work autonomously with increasing duties and responsibilities

• Exceptional client service skills and the ability to interact with all management levels

• Proactive and receptive to new ideas, technologies, and processes

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities; able to manage multiple projects at once

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to thrive under pressure

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field

• CPA preferred, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

• Extensive proficiency with Excel; experience with pivot tables is required, while VBA and macros are advantageous

• Familiarity with QuickBooks, FreshBooks, and Xero is a plus

• Experience in the construction industry is mandatory

• Background in business and personal tax is a plus

• Must be authorized to work in the United States both now and in the future without sponsorship
