Certified Nursing Assistant, HHA/PCA/Caregiver

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Support residents with bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding in accordance with their care plans.

• Ensure residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.

• Accompany residents to meals and recreational activities.

• Confirm that assigned residents are clean, properly dressed, well-groomed, safe, and fed throughout shifts.

• Record all services rendered during each shift accurately.

• Promptly inform the supervisor of any changes in residents’ conditions.

• Assist residents with personal care, meal service, housekeeping, laundry, behavioral management, socialization, and various activities.

• Report directly to the Health & Wellness Director.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide certification.

• Preferred knowledge and experience with the elderly population.

• Experience with dementia care is a plus.

• Capable of standing, walking, sitting, reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, and smelling.

• Must be able to lift or carry weights of up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to perform intermittent lifting and supporting of residents is required.

• Proper body mechanics must be utilized at all times.
