Certified Medical Assistant – Medicare Wellness Screenings

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct screening questionnaires for Medicare Annual Wellness Visits with patients over the phone.

• Initiate outbound calls to patients who are scheduled and eligible for screenings.

• Accurately document patient responses in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) during calls.

• Assist eligible patients in scheduling their wellness screenings.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and clinic staff.

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and compliant documentation at all times.

• Manage a high volume of patient calls efficiently.

• Achieve productivity and quality standards consistently.

• Complete most screening calls efficiently, typically within a 20-minute timeframe.

• Engage in coaching sessions and ask questions whenever clarification is needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a current Medical Assistant certification.

• Have experience in direct communication with patients or customers.

• Exhibit strong typing and computer skills.

• Ability to listen, speak, and document simultaneously.

• Familiarity with common medications, medical conditions, and healthcare terminology.

• Comfortable learning and utilizing EMRs and Microsoft Office applications.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining connection with the team.

• A private and quiet workspace where patient conversations remain confidential.

• Access to reliable high-speed internet.

• Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are strongly preferred but not mandatory.

• Availability for 35–40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
