This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary, +1 more state.
• Develop global sourcing and procurement strategies within the Infrastructure category, managing approximately $10M in expenditures.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best contractual terms while maintaining satisfaction among internal stakeholders.
• Leverage industry expertise and market insights to guide strategic choices and enhance sourcing methods.
• Foster relationships with key business stakeholders to address current and future operational needs.
• Define and implement sourcing or category management strategies that align with organizational objectives.
• Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration with IT and other business units.
• Oversee supplier relationships and negotiate contracts effectively.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, internal policies, legal obligations, and quality-system standards.
• Conduct thorough market research and competitive assessments.
• Promote cost savings, risk management, and sustainability efforts.
• Lead or assist in supplier transitions, audits, and performance assessments.
• Track and report on category performance metrics while implementing enhancements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Support global and regional sourcing initiatives and projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or category management.
• Demonstrated experience in negotiating complex contracts and overseeing supplier performance.
• Strong analytical abilities, communication skills, and project management expertise.
• Experience in a matrixed, global organization.
• Familiarity with contract terms, redlining, and negotiation strategies.
• Strong leadership and influencing capabilities.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification or experience with process improvement methodologies.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and achieve results under pressure.
• Proficiency in sourcing tools and systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship for an employment visa is not available now or in the future.
