Category Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Oversee trade-level strategies within the marketplace, managing performance and processes as needed by the organization.

• Evaluate trade, sourcing, pricing, and supply performance to uncover opportunities for volume, margin, and efficiency improvements.

• Transform data and analysis into clear, actionable insights for Operations leadership.

• Suggest and implement optimization measures across bids, pricing, supply, and lead mix to enhance marketplace results.

• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to develop solutions that balance volume, margin, and lead quality.

• Monitor the impact of implemented actions, tracking outcomes and refining strategies to maintain results.

• Establish and track KPIs that measure trade health, throughput, and profitability.

• Create business cases to support prioritization and investment decisions.

• Promote cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Pricing, and Data teams to execute initiatives effectively.

• Identify operational risks early and propose mitigation strategies to safeguard marketplace performance.

• Develop scalable and repeatable processes to ensure reliable trade management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in supply and demand dynamics, category management, vertical management, or account management within an e-commerce or marketplace setting.

• Proven track record in project management, with the ability to unite diverse groups to align on and achieve common objectives.

• Demonstrated capability to establish and maintain strong relationships across varied teams.

• Strong technical foundation, enabling successful interpretation and conversion of requests into actionable technical deliverables.

• Analytical mindset with hands-on experience using Excel and data visualization tools (such as Tableau or ThoughtSpot); SQL experience is preferred.

• Proficient in English at an advanced level.
