This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Take full ownership of the commercial performance for designated Amazon categories.
• Create comprehensive growth strategies for the category that include range architecture (hero vs tail), launch and exit plans for products, pricing and promotional tactics, as well as methods for enhancing traffic and conversion rates.
• Convert Amazon data into actionable priorities and commercial decisions.
• Manage essential category KPIs, which include revenue, growth rate, contribution margin, market share and rank, average selling price (ASP), promotional return on investment (ROI), and mix shift.
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities and lead necessary corrective measures.
• Develop business cases for investment opportunities, including pricing adjustments, promotions, new ASINs, and content enhancements.
• Oversee category pricing strategies across Vendor Central (VC) and Seller Central (SC), ensuring a balance between competitiveness and profit margin.
• Plan and assess promotions, deals, and events (such as Prime Day and seasonal occasions).
• Collaborate with Finance and Advertising to evaluate the true incrementality of promotions.
• Direct the category selection strategy by identifying range gaps and expansion prospects, while rationalizing underperforming or unprofitable ASINs.
• Work with Product teams on timing for launches, product positioning, and readiness for Amazon.
• Ensure the catalogue structure enhances discoverability and cross-selling opportunities.
• Establish content priorities for the category, including titles, bullets, A+, and brand stores.
• Utilize data (conversion rates, returns, reviews, questions and answers) to inform content enhancements.
• Ensure the category experience reinforces brand positioning and builds shopper trust.
• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Demand Planning to synchronize growth strategies with inventory availability and risk.
• Work together with Advertising to ensure that marketing spend is directed towards priority ASINs and significant growth moments.
• Partner with Finance to effectively manage margin, funding, and forecasting processes.
• Act as the category "quarterback," unifying teams under a cohesive plan.
• Collaborate with Amazon category teams and Account Managers to optimize brand positioning for growth.
• Contribute to Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with insights and strategies at the category level.
• Ensure that category plans are in harmony with Amazon's strategic objectives and operational methods.
• 4–8+ years of experience in Amazon, e-commerce, or category management roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing the commercial performance of a product category.
• Strong knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central.
• Highly analytical, with confidence in handling large data sets, trends, and financial models.
• Commercially minded, capable of balancing growth, margins, and execution effectively.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Experience with tools such as Amazon Retail Analytics, Brand Analytics, Helium10, Profitero, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with multiple Amazon marketplaces (UK, EU, US).
• Background in tools, DIY, or hard goods categories.
• Experience collaborating with Account Managers or Amazon retail teams.
