Cash Applications Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Accurately record and reconcile customer payments, including checks, ACH, wires, and EFT, to customer accounts.

• Prepare details of customer payments and generate Excel spreadsheets for upload into proprietary software and/or MS Dynamics.

• Resolve discrepancies in payment postings.

• Manage customer ACH payments and refunds via the bank's website.

• Adhere to departmental control procedures.

• Provide management with regular updates regarding productivity and contributions to departmental projects.

• Collaborate with the team to reach departmental objectives and enhance customer service and satisfaction.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

• Ensure compliance with all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma.

• Preferred experience in credit or applications support.

• Proficient 10-key by touch.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• High degree of confidentiality and professionalism.

• Capability to meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.

• Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining high accuracy.

• Capacity to excel in a structured environment.

• Excellent customer service skills and responsiveness to customer needs.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Willingness to learn the company’s proprietary software and computer system.

• Dependable with a strong record of attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to occasionally work overtime.

• Self-motivated and comfortable with repetitive tasks.

• Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to analyze payment issues, identify discrepancies, and implement effective solutions.
