Case Manager, Registered Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Engaging extensively as a telephonic case manager with patients and their healthcare teams for fully and/or self-insured clients.

• Application and/or interpretation of relevant criteria and clinical guidelines, standardized care management plans, policies, procedures, and regulatory standards while assessing benefits and/or members’ needs.

• Utilizes clinical judgment to implement strategies aimed at reducing risk factors and barriers while addressing complex health and social indicators.

• Assessments incorporate information from diverse sources to address all conditions, including co-morbid and multiple diagnoses that affect functionality.

• Employs motivational interviewing techniques to ensure optimal member engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, including a minimum of 1 year in a hospital environment.

• At least 1 year of experience in electronic documentation using a keyboard.

• Minimum of 1 year of current or prior experience in Oncology, Transplant, Specialty Pharmacy, Pediatrics, Medical/Surgical, Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse, or Maternity/Obstetrics.

• Registered Nurses residing in compact states must possess an active multistate license through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

• Nurses living in non-compact states are required to hold an individual, state-specific RN license for each state they serve.
