This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Create capacity solutions that effectively cater to customer needs.
• Oversee load boards to align freight with carrier availability.
• Manage a portfolio of carriers while establishing strategic partnerships with carrier associates across various regions.
• Generate quotes and skillfully negotiate logistics rates.
• Accurately enter, process, and follow up on orders and inquiries via phone, email, and EDI, maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Conduct calls with carriers to assess availability and negotiate transport rates.
• Deliver consistent and outstanding service to both contracted carriers and internal customers.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with carrier accounts, including performing account reviews and identifying avenues for further collaboration.
• A college or university degree is required.
• 3-4 years of prior experience in brokerage or carrier sales is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A solid understanding of North American geography is essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office and the capacity to quickly adapt to new software.
• Must be located in Bogotá, Colombia.
