This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Develop and sustain relationships with carriers, dispatchers, and load planners across North America.
• Maintain ongoing communication with carriers to secure additional truck capacity and oversee existing operations.
• Serve as the main point of contact between drivers and customers, addressing issues and ensuring satisfaction.
• Identify, source, and establish new carrier partnerships to enhance the carrier network.
• Leverage TMS and other software tools to make informed decisions regarding carrier selection and load assignments.
• Guarantee the accurate completion of assigned loads, including the coding of accessorial charges.
• Negotiate rates and service agreements for both spot and dedicated business.
• Oversee the carrier network to maintain high service levels and customer satisfaction.
• Strategically pair available carrier equipment with open loads to optimize efficiency.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure that each partner carrier comprehends all customer and company expectations for each load.
• Confirm that shipment details and process instructions are effectively communicated, tracked, and monitored through the appropriate communication methods or TMS.
• Navigate both internal and external customer TMS and related technology tools to ensure all transactions, documentation, and interactions are accurately recorded and compliant with company SOPs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align carrier capacity with customer demands and operational objectives.
• A minimum of B2 English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with McLeod or other Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is preferred.
• Previous experience in 3PL logistics is preferred.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Basic problem-solving skills to address disruptions in shipping schedules or other logistics challenges.
• Precision in tracking shipments, updating records, and managing documentation.
• Well-developed interpersonal and service skills, with the ability to consistently uphold professionalism and treat peers and customers with respect.
