Carrier Operations Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Accurately maintain and update shipment statuses within internal systems.

• Oversee carrier performance to guarantee timely deliveries and address mid-transit challenges as per company SOPs.

• Reach out to carriers for urgent updates and appropriately log the information received.

• Manage the team email, promptly responding to internal and external inquiries.

• Proactively identify and relay issues to relevant teams for swift resolution.

• Assist Carrier Sales Representatives by facilitating seamless operations within their portfolio.

• Collaborate with internal departments while maintaining a professional demeanor under pressure.

• Stay updated on industry trends, including seasonal variations and geographic freight dynamics.

• Be eager to learn and master the company's proprietary technologies and systems.

• Maintain a positive outlook, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and contribute to the success of the team.

• Support colleagues and management by promoting a collaborative work atmosphere.

• Previous experience in carrier sales, freight brokerage, or logistics coordination within the US market.

• Strong negotiation abilities with a talent for building rapport and influencing others.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software applications.

• Demonstrated capability to cultivate productive internal and external partnerships.

• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments.

• Comfortable managing multiple tasks while utilizing technology effectively.

• Willingness to learn about freight markets, types of carriers, and transportation trends.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English.

• Highly detail-oriented and accurate in execution.

• Capable of working confidently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
