This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Expand the current user base of da Vinci Cardiac across France and the Benelux regions to include the Total Practice.
• Identify and validate high-potential leads by leveraging commitment, unrestricted access, volume, executive and clinical support, as well as directional data in the cardiac sector.
• Oversee and implement all four phases of the new da Vinci Cardiac Technical Training Pathway, ensuring both surgeon and programmatic sustainability.
• Establish da Vinci Cardiac Reference Centers that demonstrate Clinical, Economic, Strategic, and Operational impact.
• Develop comprehensive new Cardiac Programmatic Development Centers that involve Surgeons, Executives, and Cardiologists capable of articulating the Clinical, Economic, Strategic, and Operational benefits of da Vinci Cardiac.
• Raise awareness of da Vinci Cardiac in strategic markets by utilizing new resources such as data, technology, referring physicians, executives, and peer-to-peer engagements.
• Recruit and cultivate Surgical Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) who can educate, proctor, and share their clinical experiences through peer interactions.
• Recruit and nurture Cardiology KOLs capable of teaching and sharing their clinical insights through peer engagements.
• Recruit and develop Executive KOLs who can impart their programmatic experiences through clinical and financial analyses of their current cardiac programs.
• Launch the da Vinci ECOSYSTEM for all da Vinci Cardiac Surgeons to foster programmatic development, including Training, Simulation, Digital, Data Analytics, and New Technology.
• Cultivate autonomous surgeons, teams, and programs for da Vinci Cardiac.
• Develop and maintain high-level technical and clinical expertise with the da Vinci Surgical System platform and procedures, positioning oneself as an expert in supporting cardiac surgeons and surgical teams, particularly in IMA harvest and mitral valve procedures among others. Serve as a dedicated cardiac resource for all Intuitive business partners, assisting in the validation of surgeons, programs, and business opportunities.
• Gain a robust understanding of the MIDCAB and MVR disease states to effectively discuss diagnostic tools, ancillary equipment, and techniques to address minimally invasive surgical options.
• Educate and train Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) on the safe and effective use of the da Vinci Surgical System to enhance their robotic surgery techniques and capabilities.
• Lead and develop care teams through training sessions, facilitating their understanding of system operations, safety, OR integration, and clinical applications to ensure effective pre, intra, and postoperative system management.
• Act as a dedicated resource for surgeons, cardiologists, surgical teams, and executives to integrate the da Vinci system with both new and existing customer sites, ensuring ongoing commitment to the system.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and service activities on the da Vinci Surgical System as required.
• Collaborate and communicate with ancillary equipment manufacturers to devise strategies that ensure overall programmatic success.
• Partner with the local ISI sales team, leadership, and business partners to execute an effective clinical plan for surgeons and surgical teams, ensuring system autonomy within a reasonable timeframe.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical, Capital, Key Accounts, MACA, Marketing, Training, and Education teams to develop the da Vinci Cardiac business.
• Present to hospital and surgical practice executives.
• A bachelor's degree is required (preferably in science or business).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the medical device industry is required.
• Cardiac clinical experience is essential.
• A proven track record of success in previous roles reflecting a high level of sales achievement.
• Demonstrated ability to develop KOLs and Reference Centers using QTI Data.
• Proven capability to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to solve problems, manage complexities, and adapt to changing environments.
• Strong planning, interpersonal, and persuasive communication skills.
• Excellent clinical selling skills with the ability to establish credibility with a highly educated customer base.
• A history of sales excellence.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%, depending on account distribution.
