This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Achieve sales objectives, operate independently, and act as the primary point of accountability for the successful product launch in your designated territory.
• Create territory-specific account strategies that identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities to fulfill customer requirements by collaborating with a local integrated field team, which includes medical, payer, and patient navigation/support professionals.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and provide valuable resources to customers by delivering clinically relevant information about diseases and products, while concentrating on generating demand for the product launch.
• Share approved resources with healthcare professionals (HCPs) that benefit HCM patients, including marketing materials, payer details, formulary coverage, patient support services, and educational initiatives.
• A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in biotech/pharmaceutical sales is essential.
• Prior experience as a representative with complete ownership of a territory is highly desirable.
• Experience in cardiology, rare diseases, or specialty products is preferred.
• Experience with specialty product launches is advantageous.
• Familiarity with patient service hubs and specialty pharmacy distribution is beneficial.
• Knowledge of key opinion leaders (KOLs) and major accounts within the assigned territory is preferred.
• Expertise in assessing market trends within the territory and implementing strategic plans that yield results and surpass sales goals is required.
• Proven experience in selling to complex accounts, recognizing influential stakeholders, and addressing patient needs is required.
• Clinical insight and a strong commitment to understanding and advocating for the needs of customers and their patients are essential.
• Agreement to credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the assigned territory is necessary.
• Willingness and ability to travel overnight 25% to 75% based on business requirements and geographic considerations is required.
• Capability to maintain an acceptable driving record and possess a valid driver's license to operate a company vehicle is essential.
