This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska, +3 more states.
• Oversee educational and training initiatives for both customers and employees in relation to Cardiac Rhythm Management product and procedure launches.
• Collaborate with leadership, field teams, and cross-functional personnel to pinpoint opportunities and obstacles affecting district and regional performance.
• Relay product performance insights to teams in product development, quality assurance, education, and marketing.
• Act as a technical resource for customers and field personnel in Cardiac Rhythm Management.
• Provide specialized knowledge in the education of physicians and fellows, AHP education, interpretation of clinical evidence, and training for Medtronic employees.
• Offer implant or clinic support based on the demands of the region.
• Educate both internal teams and external clients on CRM procedures, therapies, products, processes, and solutions.
• Organize training for new hires and ensure completion of new-hire field sign-off.
• Provide competitive technology and therapy training to regional teams, field service, and sales personnel.
• Conduct customized training on Medtronic and competitor products, clinical evidence, and changes in the marketplace.
• Facilitate training for new products and procedural updates in the field.
• Foster relationships with stakeholders and promote Medtronic products and therapies through education focused on clinical value.
• Simplify complex technical messages, tackle competitive claims, and resolve intricate technical issues.
• Share updates regarding products, procedures, and any field corrective actions.
• Work with the Clinical Research Organization on clinical studies and physician-led research.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to create and implement strategic technical and clinical training aligned with business objectives.
• Address urgent or evolving business needs and execute strategic solutions with sales teams.
• Cultivate collaborative relationships throughout Medtronic.
• Establish and sustain trusted relationships with key customers in the region.
• Deliver expert service to key accounts, reinforcing Medtronic's technical expertise.
• Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years of experience in electrophysiology, or sales/service/engineering within the Cardiac Rhythm or Implantable Medical Device Industry, or an Advanced Degree.
• A degree that meets the criteria of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) for bachelor's degrees obtained outside the United States.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Must live within the designated territory.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the entirety of employment.
• A degree in biomedical engineering or nursing is preferred.
• Experience in Cath Lab, EP Lab, hospital/clinic settings, or cardiology is preferred.
• Previous experience in teaching and educating medical staff, peers, and technical personnel is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cardiac medical terminology and the medical device industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills are preferred.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills are preferred.
• Capability to coordinate multiple tasks/projects and adhere to deadlines is preferred.
• A strong work ethic is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools and business applications, such as SalesForce.com, is preferred.
• Ability to meet vendor credentialing standards is preferred.
• IBHRE certification is required at the Senior and Principal levels.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer clinics, hospitals, and offsite meetings.
• Ability to handle equipment and supplies weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Capability to wear a 5–7 lb lead apron for extended periods.
• Ability to work in settings that involve infectious diseases, radiation, MRI, blood, and bodily fluids.
