Card Systems Implementation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Set up and launch card products across various enterprise card processing platforms, encompassing debit, credit, prepaid, and virtual card programs.

• Establish and manage card product parameters, BIN configurations, transaction controls, fee structures, and lifecycle workflows.

• Configure EMV chip and contactless payment profiles, which include AIDs, CVM lists, CAPKs, and transaction routing logic.

• Design and facilitate ISO 8583 integrations with card schemes, ATM/POS networks, acquirers, and third-party processors.

• Integrate payment systems with external platforms using REST and SOAP APIs, covering fraud prevention, AML, loyalty, and digital banking solutions.

• Oversee HSM-related tasks such as cryptographic key exchanges, PIN verification services, and secure key ceremonies.

• Assist in the implementation and certification of 3D Secure (3DS 2.x) and digital wallet tokenization services like Apple Pay and Google Pay.

• Lead technical certification efforts with Visa and Mastercard, which include simulator testing, defect resolution, and compliance validation.

• Conduct SIT, UAT, regression, and transaction flow testing across intricate card payment environments.

• Provide production support, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize configurations for live card processing systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of direct experience with card management or card processing platforms in roles focused on implementation, configuration, or technical analysis.

• Strong practical knowledge of enterprise platforms such as Tieto Card Suite, BASE24, SmartVista, Way4, or TSYS Card Tech.

• Comprehensive understanding of the entire card payment lifecycle, including authorization, clearing, settlement, disputes, and chargebacks.

• Practical familiarity with ISO 8583 messaging standards and card scheme transaction processing.

• Experience in supporting Visa and/or Mastercard certification tasks and scheme compliance procedures.

• Solid understanding of EMV chip technology, contactless payments, and PCI DSS requirements within card data environments.

• Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs, integrations, and technical documentation.

• Proficient in SQL with the capability to analyze transaction data, troubleshoot issues, and validate configurations.
