Capture Manager – Navy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Identify, qualify, and sustain a strong pipeline of opportunities that align with corporate growth objectives and strategic IT focus areas.

• Develop and utilize established relationships within the DoN to influence and secure emerging C5ISR and enterprise IT opportunities.

• Direct capture efforts for high-priority pursuits, including the formulation of win themes, value propositions, and Price-to-Win (PTW) strategies.

• Interact directly with customers, contracting officers, and industry partners to collect intelligence and impact procurement strategies.

• Identify and negotiate with strategic teaming partners and subcontractors to form competitive and compliant delivery teams.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of Navy acquisition mechanisms, including Navy-specific OTAs.

• Facilitate "Gate Reviews" and deliver briefings to executive leadership to support bid/no-bid decisions and secure resource allocations.

• Work closely with the Proposal Manager to convert capture intelligence into persuasive narratives and engage in Color Team reviews.

• Collaborate with internal SMEs to ensure our Cloud, Cyber, and DevSecOps solutions meet specific PAE and mission-level requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in DoD Business Development and Capture Management.

• Proven track record of successfully capturing contracts within Navy/Marine Corps commands.

• Demonstrated ability to secure prime contracts valued at $25M or more.

• Experience in capturing IT-focused contracts (e.g., Enterprise IT, Cyber, or Cloud).

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the capability to brief O-6/GS-15 level customers and C-suite executives.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% to support client engagements, industry days, and team meetings.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Shipley or equivalent Capture Management Certification (Preferred).
