This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Formulate and implement capture strategies along with competitive positioning.
• Navigate the intricacies of government procurement processes and regulatory frameworks in international markets.
• Oversee relationships with prime contractors and manage flow-down requirements, ensuring compliance both legally and operationally.
• Lead the capture team, coordinating execution, schedules, deliverables, and fostering cross-functional alignment.
• Engage with customer stakeholders at both strategic and technical levels to build trust and comprehend customer priorities.
• Gather customer intelligence and pinpoint follow-on opportunities that resonate with customer strategy and Doodle Labs' roadmap.
• Collaborate with internal leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and coherence through the contract award process.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in government capture, procurement management, and/or proposal management.
• A proven history at the director level of securing high-stakes government contracts with major defense primes.
• In-depth knowledge of international government procurement landscapes and regulatory frameworks.
• Legal and contractual proficiency: you are familiar with prime contractor flow-down obligations, compliance mandates, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Business development expertise: you grasp customer strategy, can cultivate consultative relationships, and instinctively recognize expansion opportunities.
• Politically savvy: you adeptly navigate complex stakeholder dynamics and comprehend the decision-making processes of government clients.
• Operationally proficient: you effectively manage intricate pursuits that involve multiple workstreams, competing priorities, and external stakeholders.
• Comfortable in international markets and working alongside global teams.
• Entrepreneurial spirit: you flourish in a scale-up environment where capture successes directly influence the company's trajectory.
• Familiarity with autonomous systems, robotics, wireless networking, or defense electronics.
• Experience collaborating with OEMs or within embedded systems/hardware products.
• Background in program management or experience with transitions from capture to execution.
• Proficient in European defense procurement or have experience with international government agencies.
• Advanced degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
