This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Formulate strategies, capture plans, and winning approaches for Federal Remediation opportunities.
• Lead resource identification, develop proposal capture strategies, create value propositions, and support bid and commercial strategies, proposal responses, interview preparations, and negotiations.
• Manage the transition process from opportunity identification to proposal submission and award.
• Collaborate with sales teams to implement capture strategies and timelines that align with annual sales goals.
• Oversee bid strategies, pricing, teaming, proposal strategies, and the transition from opportunity to award.
• Ensure proper prioritization, funding, and team structuring for all pursuits.
• Provide market insights to guide pursuit strategy formulation.
• Assist with legal, risk, and contract evaluations.
• Lead Readiness to Win processes and conduct executive reviews.
• Develop and manage capture planning and opportunity analysis initiatives.
• Drive proposal themes, messaging, differentiation, and innovative ideas.
• Support proposal pricing based on scope and necessary skills.
• Offer customer advocacy and insights reflecting the voice of the customer.
• Identify and manage teaming and subcontracting arrangements.
• Establish go/no-go decision processes and manage pink, red, and green review gates.
• Develop and maintain price-to-win analyses.
• Plan execution with defined milestones and track progress.
• Collaborate with technical and account teams on competitive proposals.
• Partner with marketing on proposal submissions and branding materials.
• Assist in strategic planning alongside the Sales Director.
• Lead lessons learned sessions and processes for client feedback.
• Maintain accurate opportunity data within Salesforce CRM.
• A BS/BA in engineering, environmental science, soil science, geology, or a related earth science field, along with 10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience and/or education.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience.
• US citizenship is required.
• Must reside within the mainland USA territory.
• US citizens living outside the US must be prepared to relocate back to the US mainland.
• Experience in diverse accounts and proposal execution is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation capabilities.
