This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Manages assigned opportunities throughout the HII growth process.
• Collects and updates intelligence regarding competitive positioning.
• Develops and owns the capture plan and strategy, collaborating with Portfolio Leads to define technical solutions, identify key personnel/SMEs, and evaluate the strongest past performance references.
• Establishes and maintains customer relationships – both Operational/Technical and Customer/Contract.
• Identifies, conducts due diligence, and maintains B2B relationships by initiating NDAs and Teaming Agreements in accordance with approval protocols and coordination with Portfolio Leads.
• Plans and manages coordinated customer interactions through targeted Customer Call Plans.
• Defines and manages the B&P budget.
• Leads competitive analysis and price-to-win analysis, setting team cost targets.
• Oversees the transition of the capture plan into the proposal management plan, collaborating with the proposal core team on win strategy and solutions. Initiates and schedules decision gate reviews, providing slides no later than 24 hours prior.
• Drives or contributes to gate reviews and milestone updates.
• Supports color team reviews.
• Reviews assigned IDIQ pipeline and markets/capabilities using business intelligence methods and engagements to pinpoint opportunities that align with ADO service offerings.
• Inputs identified opportunities into Sales Force in coordination with the VP, ADO Growth to ensure proper alignment with the appropriate capture lead.
• Supports all growth initiatives with business intelligence or personal expertise/experience.
• Leads the development of RFIs and Sources Sought Responses, as directed.
• Utilizes MT Division assets (business intelligence, account managers, market assessments, AI/ML solutions, etc.) to bolster capture and growth initiatives.
• 10 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 8 years with a Master's degree in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent with 14 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in technical writing.
• Over 5 years of experience in federal/defense proposal and capture development.
• Strong understanding of proposal development and the ability to read and interpret federal/defense solicitation documentation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of account management activities.
• Excellent proofreading, editing, and document formatting skills.
• Capacity to think holistically, support long-term projects, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines.
• Flexibility to work hours as needed to meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word.
