Capture Management Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist Capture Leads and program teams in coordinating active pursuits and growth initiatives.

• Aid in the development of capture materials, such as briefings, summaries, and background documents.

• Conduct research on customers, programs, and competitors to enhance pursuit strategies.

• Help organize and maintain capture artifacts, documentation, and shared repositories.

• Support internal reviews, gate processes, and milestone tracking for capture activities.

• Assist in tracking action items, risks, and dependencies related to ongoing pursuits.

• Aid in proposal preparation tasks, including formatting, editing, and compliance checks.

• Facilitate coordination of inputs from technical, program, and functional teams.

• Help ensure the consistency and organization of proposal content and supporting materials.

• Conduct focused research on agency priorities, budgets, and mission areas.

• Analyze competitor activities and contract landscapes to assist in opportunity shaping.

• Synthesize research findings into clear summaries, briefing slides, or supporting materials.

• Maintain trackers, timelines, and status updates for activities related to capture.

• Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and document notes and action items.

• Manage and organize files across collaboration tools like SharePoint, Teams, etc.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Policy / International Affairs, or a related field.

• Experience with AI-enabled tools for research, summarization, and content development.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

• Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a structured environment.

• Strong attention to detail, along with organizational, analytical, and coordination skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
