This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead major pursuits as the primary consultative sales process authority, providing strategic direction, best practices in business development, and sales leadership to formulate winning strategies that outperform the competition.
• Guide discovery, pre-positioning, differentiation, and delivery strategies for significant transformative initiatives with existing and potential clients, as well as internal partners.
• Evaluate competitive landscapes, utilizing insights from recent successes and setbacks to enhance strategies.
• Foster a collaborative environment by leveraging multidisciplinary teams from across regions and globally to achieve client-centered and value-driven results.
• Guarantee collaboration between technical, marketing, and bidding teams to ensure best practices in proposals.
• Advocate for the complete lifecycle of the sales process, ensuring quality assurance and compliance with Go/No-Go standards.
• Work in conjunction with marketing to implement strategic campaigns that align with critical opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to commercial, financial, legal, and governance aspects of contracts.
• Promote accountability for meeting sales metrics and achieving high capture rates.
• Align AECOM’s initiatives with client priorities, emphasizing sustainability, resilience, and innovative solutions.
• Assist in developing and sustaining a varied pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy and objectives.
• Establish trust with client decision-makers and internal stakeholders, including Client Account Managers (CAMs), Marketing, Bidding, RBLLs, and the Executive Board.
• Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of experience, including positions at the Director or Vice President level.
• A minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in business development strategy and team management.
