Captive Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +42 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of captive clients managing competing deadlines

• Provide continuous consulting services to current clients through stewardship and additional methods

• Enhance clients’ captive operations and refine alternative risk strategies

• Prepare and deliver RFP and client prospect presentations

• Ensure timely and accurate billing for management and consulting services

• Monitor client premiums with precision and punctuality

• Engage with clients and service providers to uphold regulatory compliance for captive insurance entities

• Design and conduct informational seminars

• Suggest operational best practices for both internal and external clients

• Identify and cultivate relationships within Hylant’s network to secure proposal opportunities for risk consulting and captive formation

• Advocate for GCS programs and services through networking, conferences, seminars, and internal relationship development

• Execute other tasks and special projects as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience

• Understanding of captive insurance companies and the captive insurance sector

• Familiarity with alternative risk financing methods, insurance coverage options, and significant program designs

• Knowledge of risk consulting methodologies and principles

• Dedication to client service and business ethics

• Proficient in interpreting financial statements

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including presentation skills

• Willingness to travel by car or airplane for meetings, conferences, or other business-related activities

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
