Capital/Fixed Asset Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Gather data and identify equipment at universities, colleges, and hospitals.

• Evaluate data for project planning, implementation, and completion.

• Collaborate with senior team members to address client-specific issues.

• Acquire foundational knowledge of commercial building construction principles.

• Utilize GASB 34 compliance expertise to analyze data.

• Engage with clients through meetings or phone calls to review project scope and outcomes.

• Travel frequently within Kansas, Missouri, and other states.

• Conduct equipment inventories, cost segregation, and space utilization assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• Knowledge and experience with GASB compliance.

• 2-4 years of experience in city/county GASB 34 compliance.

• Background in public accounting.

• Unwavering commitment to providing exceptional service to HCA Clients.

• Ability to think quickly and eagerness to learn new skills.

• Highly detail-oriented and organized.

• Passionate about problem-solving and dedicated to enhancing internal and external processes.

• Strong communication skills with clients and team members.

• Proficient in working with and interpreting data.

• Willingness to travel overnight to client sites nationwide 50%-70% of the time.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Access is a plus.

• Competence in MS Word.

• Valid driver's license required.
