Capital Allocation & Investments, Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Assess capital allocation possibilities across the complete range of M&A, organic growth initiatives (such as new product launches), and portfolio optimization.

• Spearhead the development of business cases by closely collaborating with business leadership and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and secure executive backing.

• Execute M&A due diligence, working in partnership with Corporate Development and external advisors (including investment bankers and consultants).

• Perform portfolio analysis to guide prioritization, capital allocation decisions, and long-term strategic planning.

• Mentor and assist in the development of junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree, with an MBA being an advantage.

• Over 8 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or valuation/transaction services.

• Strong grasp of advanced corporate finance principles (valuation, investment returns, EPS accretion/dilution) with the capacity to independently lead workstreams.

• Experience in M&A deal teams or a similar role.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to convey essential business insights to leadership.

• Strategic thinker with the capability to identify and assess growth opportunities.

• High degree of self-motivation, proactivity, and a sense of ownership.

• Broad exposure to life sciences tools and/or software industries is a plus.
