This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Establish the vision for all capacity development initiatives for the network of partners and legal service providers.
• Provide oversight and direction to instructional designers, content creators, community of practice specialists, writers, editors, and subject matter experts.
• Lead and execute legal services training and technical assistance strategies, which include a comprehensive training plan.
• Ensure that learning and development deliverables are produced on time and meet high-quality standards.
• Utilize adult learning theories and AI to develop engaging and interactive learning resources.
• Identify knowledge gaps and assess training and technical assistance requirements.
• Maintain and enhance staff orientation training materials.
• Supervise product development for legal services training and technical assistance.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and partners to provide training and technical assistance services.
• Work with the Communication Lead on both internal and external project communications.
• Engage with the technology team to explore the integration of training efforts with learning platforms.
• Bachelor's degree with over 7 years of experience or a Master's degree with over 4 years of experience managing a task or service area, including personnel and deliverables, in a project or contract environment.
• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong stakeholder and partner relationships for capacity-building projects.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in national training and technical assistance aimed at developing capacity in a specific subject matter area or profession.
• Proven experience in project management and instructional design.
• Education and/or experience in applying race equity, diversity, and inclusion or social justice strategies within human service settings.
• Working knowledge of challenges faced by refugees, immigrants, and asylees.
• Experience in a refugee program setting.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
• Strong team-building and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities, perspectives, and stakeholder needs.
• Exceptional project management abilities, particularly in the context of technical assistance project management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapid changes and prioritize work effectively.
• Commitment to promoting and contributing to an equitable and inclusive organizational culture.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
