Canadian Law Clerk, Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Prepare and draft applications for Canadian immigration along with supporting documentation, such as work permits, LMIA applications, permanent residence applications, and other submissions to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

• Review and assess the supporting documents provided by clients to ensure they are complete, accurate, and in accordance with relevant immigration regulations.

• Conduct legal and policy research pertaining to Canadian immigration programs, procedures, and eligibility requirements under the guidance of attorneys or senior legal professionals.

• Support attorneys and consultants in case preparation by drafting legal submissions and gathering evidence to support applications.

• Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide updates on case status and filing requirements.

• Monitor critical deadlines related to filings, renewals, and compliance matters.

• Maintain precise case records and update internal case management systems consistently and in a timely manner.

• Assist in the preparation of responses to requests for additional information from government entities.

• Utilize internal technology platforms, including WRapid and other case management tools, to track case progress and manage documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Canadian immigration, with a preference for work permit applications.

• Strong understanding of Canadian immigration processes and government filing requirements.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

• Keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

• Clear and professional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Experience with corporate immigration matters (e.g., C-20, ICT, LMIA, LMIA-GTS, and CUSMA) is preferred.
