CAM Programmer – SolidCAM/Siemens NX

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Evaluate part compatibility for CAM Assist to decide if a technical demonstration is necessary.

• Prepare the part with suitable workholding and brief the person leading the demonstration on the selected strategy.

• Create toolpath outputs utilizing CAM Assist, making necessary adjustments to determine if the part is appropriate for the product.

• When CAM Assist encounters failures, relay that part information to the product management team for insights on future enhancements.

• Resolve any technical issues during demonstrations and provide helicopter technical support.

• Offer guidance on best practices for conducting technical demonstrations.

• Onboard specialized clients.

• Develop toolpath designs, prepare models, and implement continuous improvements within CAM Assist.

• Provide recommendations on best practices for tooling, design concepts of fixtures or workholding components, and machining strategies.

• Mentor and train members of the sales team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy and detail.

• Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively in a remote team setting.

• Experience in 3D drawing and programming.

• At least 5 years of programming experience in SolidCAM, with familiarity in additional CAM packages being a plus (such as Mastercam, GibbsCAM, Creo, Fusion).
