CAM Programmer – Mastercam

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will be tasked with evaluating components for compatibility with CAM Assist from our prospective clients.

• You will prepare these components for technical demonstrations, utilizing established workholding strategies or determining the optimal solution for each part.

• You will assist our current clients with programming challenges while utilizing CAM Assist.

• You will play a crucial role in providing insights from part reviews to our Product Management team, significantly impacting the roadmap and future direction of CAM Assist.

⛳️ Requirements

• Evaluate part compatibility with CAM Assist to decide if a technical demonstration is warranted.

• Prepare the component using suitable workholding techniques and brief the demo leader on the selected strategy.

• Create toolpath outputs with CAM Assist, making necessary adjustments to assess part suitability for the product.

• In cases where CAM Assist encounters issues, relay that part information to the product management team for future enhancements.

• Support live customers in resolving their CAM Assist challenges, guiding them in best practices.

• Troubleshoot any technical issues during demonstrations and provide technical support as needed.

• Offer advice on best practices for conducting technical demonstrations.

• Onboard specialized clients.

• Develop tutorial and guidance materials for customers.

• Generate toolpath designs, prepare models, and drive continuous improvements within CAM Assist.

• Provide recommendations on best practices for tooling, design concepts of fixtures or workholding components, and machining strategies.

• Mentor and train members of the sales team.
